Better Cities Film Festival

Saturday May 21st, 1-5 pm, doors open at 12 noon- The Park Theatre

I want to officially invite you to the Better Cities Film Festival that we are co-hosting on May 21st at The Park Theatre, from 1 to 5 pm. As an invested resident this would be a great opportunity to engage with others and provide insight into the community building process that we hope to inspire through these independent films. Please see the trailer video link below, that offers a glimpse into the films that we will view, highlighting three main areas of community: Good Planning, Housing Development and Citizen Empowerment. I have also included ticket information that you are welcome to share with anyone you feel might be interested in this opportunity. There is a minimum $10 donation per ticket but I do have a limited supply of free tickets I would be happy to share. We do not want cost to be a barrier to anyone interested in attending. There will be a silent auction with items donated by local businesses. This festival will also serve as a fundraising event for three area community development nonprofits: Westcore Neighbors, 3-sixty and Washington School Neighbors. Please reach out with any questions. I would love to see you at this fun community event.

Sincerely, Lisa Kasten-WSN Director/Neighborhood Connector
