A good neighbor is demonstrated in a number of ways. But I recently enjoyed an excellent example from my neighbor, Laurie. She walks her dog many times a day, so when she noticed UPS packages piling up on my porch, she gathered them up, took them home and left a phone message telling me she had them. Since I was out of town at the time, her thoughtfulness protected the packages from damage until I returned.
