Block Connectors

Block connectors are neighbors who take a more active role in developing community on their block. The three main roles of Block Connectors are to: Communicate, Connect, Convene. WSN holds monthly meetings, the last Tuesday of every month, which provide an opportunity to receive information about resources/events as well as share any neighbor concerns.  The time commitment varies depending on your level of involvement, but is usually no more than 2 hours/month.

Some additional perks of being a block connector include:

  • can apply for a WSN grant for block parties and other neighborhood events
  • meet other invested neighbors in the community
  • strengthening relationships right on your own block

To become a connector for your block, or to find out more about what it involves, feel free to drop in on one of our monthly Block Connector meetings (see the WSN calendar for details on the next meeting).
