$5 Million and Change! That’s the slogan for the City of Holland which is a semi-finalist in the Georgetown University Energy Prize competition. The prize will be awarded to the community that shows, within a two-year period, the most significant cuts in electric and natural gas use. They will be further judged on factors like being innovative, being replicable and promoting continued reductions in energy use. Holland was one of only 53 communities chosen because of the city’s commitment to making energy-saving a reality.
