In 2009 Sean Anderson rode is bicycle across the US interviewing people who were making a difference in their local communities. He believes “going the extra mile” is a way to create positive change in families, organizations, and communities and to simultaneously discover a more fulfilling life. This year more than 200 mayors are declaring November 1 an “extra mile day.”
What if we decided to donate a day to go the extra mile for one of our Washington School Neighbors or organizations? It might be Nov 1, it might be another day. Perhaps it’s one day a month, or even one hour a month that you decide to go the extra mile… I would love to see what might happen!
