It’s the last week of January, and there are a couple of events coming up that you should know about. Here they are:
Downtown Holland Rail Jam
What: AGA Nation is bringing back the Rail Jam to Downtown Holland. You can see professional snowboard and ski demonstrations, try out the state of the art snowboard/ski setup with your own gear, sled with your family, and ride in or watch the competition for the AGA Cup. When: This Saturday, January 30 2:00pm – 8:00pm.
Where: The New Holland Brewing parking lot (College Avenue and 8th Street).
Park Theatre Open Mic Night
What: For just $2, enjoy Park Theater’s second open mic night featuring CRIME FUNK, Olivia Mainville & The Aquatic Troupe, The Fever Haze, Brother Adams, Sonic Coma, Bettenal, River Ave House Band, and whatever local talent decides to show up. If you want to share your own talent, get there early to sign up for the limited slots.
When: Tuesday, January 26 8:00pm.
Where: Park Theatre!
Home Energy Education Session
What: Learn how to improve the energy efficiency of your house, save money while doing it, and more. If you have any interest in making energy improvements to your house, this is the event to go to. Oh, and bring your neighbors.
When: Tuesday, January 26 5:30pm – 6:15pm.
Where: Herrick District Library
