2) Big Read Events:
Mon, Nov 16, 7 pm:  “Moral Injury after War.”  Chaplain Col. Herman Keizer, Jr, U.S. Army retired, looks at the hidden wounds of war; learn how religious communities can become partners in the healing of moral injury.  At Herrick District Library, 300 South River, Holland.
Tues, Nov 17, 7 pm:  Give Back to Veterans Play Group.  Family-oriented event  includes reading a book, taking part in a craft, learning about things soldiers carried, and supporting vets through a service project with A Million Thanks and another local group, About Proximity, benefiting vets.  At Herrick District Library, 300 South River, Holland.
Thurs, Nov 19, 7 pm:  Author Tim O’Brien: “The Things They Carried.”  O’Brien speaks candidly about war and loss in a presentation about his book.  At The Commons of Evergreen, 480 State St, Holland.
