The Washington School Neighbors, as a collection of families and homes, is a very powerful group. We have the capacity to make change, but this change has to start with individuals and families. That is why throughout the following weeks I will be giving you some tips on how to save energy in your households. As a neighborhood we will be one of the city’s leading forces in the Energy Prize Competition, to make our neighborhood and Holland more sustainable and efficient.
The first step is to think about your house and your habits. This self-reflection can help you find what you can change to make your home more energy-efficient. Remember that this benefits both the environment, and your wallet in the long run.
