There will be free ice cream at the Washington School Garden, 85 W. 11th, at 6:30 tonight. Afterwards, you can wander over to Pillar Church (across from Lemonjello’s) to hear Chris Williams perform a free concert on the front lawn at 8 p.m.
The Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, with the Chefs Series beginning at 10 a.m.
As another gift to the community, Pillar Church is presenting “Slugs and Bugs Live” Sunday, September 14 at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary. The concert is geared toward children age 10 and under. The concert of creative, fun, thoughtful and ‘dance-able’ music will last about one hour.
