Unplug it and turn it off.
Appliances that are unused but still plugged in and running use up a scarily large amount of energy, so turn them completely off and unplug to save energy and money.
Letting your computers sleep or hibernate is a great way to do this and if you will be out of a room for more than 15 minutes, turn off the light!
