–The Beal Memorial Celebration on September 28 brought together friends and neighbors, sharing their stories of Following Jesus’ Footsteps in the Neighborhood. Please note that the website (www.bealmemorial.org) will remain “up” so that people can continue to tell their stories and inspire others. Your neighbors would love to hear from you.
–Prince Park (next to Midtown Center on 15th and 16th Streets) was dedicated October 2. In addition to the beautiful landscaping, artistic and functional benches and the tower-entryways depicting the original chimneys of the two schools on either side of it, there are now historic markers which give background on the park and its name.
